Kenya Wanawake Coffee

With this design, I wanted to honor the wanawake (Swahili for “women”) who were involved in the creation of this small lot coffee. From the women who grew, harvested, and roasted the coffee beans, through to this project coming across my own desk, women brought this product to life. I chose strong, bold, colors, fonts, and imagery to share this story of amazing wanawake.
